Nursery provision at Little Gaddesden C. of E. Primary School

Our nursery children enjoy a range of activities that support their learning and development. These are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage expectations. Through play, they develop skills of communication, curiosity and social interaction. Each child begins their learning journey in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment.

We offer 10 places for the ‘Rising 4’ age group. This is for 38 weeks per year, in line with school term times and dates.

Sessions are:Schedule of charges:
Mornings – 08.50 – 11.50
Lunch club (optional) – 11.50 – 12.50
Afternoons – 12.50 – 15.20
Wraparound care is offered by Cascade
From 1st September 2025 the following charges apply
Additional Afternoon Session : £20.00 
Lunch club: £5.00 (children bring their own packed lunch or have school lunch @ £3.20)

  • Offer date: Friday 24th April 2026
  • Accept your place by: Friday 1st May 2026
  • From Tuesday 5th May we will continue to accept applications and allocate places based on availability.

Learning Through Play

Children explore and learn through:

  • Outdoor exploration in our secure outdoor area
  • Forest-school style sessions in the local National Trust woods or within the school grounds

Transition to School
